Our learning method

• Choice of Tasks: Children decide whether they want to plant seeds, water crops, feed animals, or explore soil. Adults provide options, but kids choose their path.
• Open-Ended Exploration: Instead of rigid steps, activities invite experimentation—like mixing compost ingredients, designing their own garden layout, or testing how plants respond to different amounts of sunlight.
• Observation & Inquiry: Kids lead by asking questions: Why are worms in the soil? What happens if we plant seeds closer together? Their curiosity shapes the lesson.
• Creative Expression: Children might draw maps of the farm, invent stories about plants, or name the animals. These playful touches make the farm feel personal.
• Responsibility & Ownership: Giving each child a small plot, plant, or animal to care for fosters independence. They learn through trial, error, and pride in their stewardship.
• Peer Collaboration: Kids organize themselves into teams—one group watering, another harvesting—and negotiate roles, practicing leadership and cooperation.
