You are here: Home > About Borderless

Our world has too much noise and too little connection. Borderless helps families slow down, nurture balance, and grow into healthy, whole individuals together.

Many families today feel trapped in a cycle of overstimulation—screens buzzing, schedules overflowing, and conflicts rising at home.

Children struggle to focus, parents feel drained, and peace seems out of reach.

That’s where worldschooling in nature steps in: a wellness‑focused path that slows the pace, restores calm, and helps families reconnect with each other and the rhythms of the natural world.

What we have in store for you and your family

OUR APPROACH

The Whole Brain Child

We follow the “whole child approach”: an educational philosophy that goes beyond academics, focusing on nurturing every aspect of a child’s development (social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and mental health) so they grow into balanced, capable, and resilient individuals.

🌿 Our Mission

Our mission is to nurture children’s growth through nature‑based worldschooling, where wellness is not an extra program but the very foundation of learning. We create spaces where families can:

  • Breathe and connect: Step away from overstimulation and rediscover calm in the forest.

  • Grow through play: Build resilience, creativity, and emotional strength in natural settings.

  • Learn with community: Share experiences that honor ancestral wisdom and foster family peace.

🌱 Our Vision

We envision a world where children and families live wellness daily, guided by nature’s rhythms and supported by community. In this vision:

  • Wellness is the curriculum: Every activity—farming, rescue, horses, food, forest bathing, yoga, and nature crafting—teaches balance, care, and peace.

  • Families thrive together: Parents and children learn patience, presence, and emotional growth side by side.

  • Traditions and futures meet: Ancestral practices blend with modern worldschooling to create pathways of harmony and sustainability.

🌎 Our Commitment

Through worldschooling in nature, we commit to:

  • Integrating wellness into every experience

  • Modeling peace and emotional growth for families

  • Honoring the wisdom of the land and its people

Together, we cultivate a learning journey where wellness is lived, not taught—where children carry home the strength, calm, and joy found in the forest.

Hola! Ciao! Bonjour! My name is Trisha.

In 2008, I left home to travel the world. As someone who worldschooled myself for the last 16 years, I know it is my calling to build a worldschooling community. And I’ve chosen to do it in the Philippines to re-connect with my roots.

ABOUT TRISHA HER JOURNEY

We are honored to work in partnership with the Aeta peoples of Subic Bay, whose ancestral wisdom and living traditions guide our journey. Their knowledge of the forest, sustainable harvesting, and community resilience enriches every experience we offer. Together, we create opportunities for children and families to learn directly from indigenous practices, while supporting education and cultural preservation for Aeta children. This partnership ensures that our worldschooling program is not only rooted in wellness, but also in respect, reciprocity, and shared growth.
